This policy explains how Focused Pharma Ltd (“we”) processes personal data received through the website focusedpharma.net, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (Cap. 586 of the Laws of Malta).

What data we receive
- Contact form: name, company, email, phone number, type of enquiry and the text of your message.
- Emails and phone calls: the data you choose to give us.
- Safety reports: the information described on the Safety Reporting page, which may include health data about the patient (age, sex, symptoms, medicines taken). We ask you not to send the patient’s full name.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and, if relevant, to take steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or for our legitimate interest in replying to business contacts (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To record and handle safety reports and quality complaints, as required by pharmacovigilance and product safety legislation (Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 9(2)(i) GDPR).
- To evaluate job applications you send us (Art. 6(1)(b)).
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 24 months afterwards. Safety reports are kept for the periods required by law. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
Who receives it
Only our staff and, where necessary, the manufacturer of the product concerned and the competent authorities (for safety reports). Messages from the contact form are delivered by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and the website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers act on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to admin@focusedpharma.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta: idpc.org.mt.
